What We Do

We offer the Kansas CHIP Child ID. This is done free of charge to the parents. This is a program that collects information provided by the parents, photos, digital fingerprints, and a video clip that is burned on to CD, printed and given to each parent. This is Amber Alert friendly. There is nothing retained at the lodge accept permission forms. All information is wiped out of the lodge computer after each child is finished leaving the only copy there is on the disc.

We hope that no one will ever have to use this.  But there is that possibility should that happen why not have every thing at your fingertips. This will not only make it easy for the parents but will ensure all valuable information is not lost when it comes time to use the information since it will already be stored.

We are also sponsoring a Masonic High School band member this year to the Shrine Bowl. The Masonic lodges across the State of Kansas sends out a form to the local band instructors for a recommendation for a band member to go to a band camp. This camp is about a weeklong. They learn about the Masons and practice for the Shrine Bowl. They perform for a banquet, the parade and at the half time for the Shrine Bowl football game.

The Cross-country runners and Cheerleaders are welcome to join in the Shrine Bowl.

We have a Relay For Life Team this year to raise money for the American Cancer Association. We are doing this for the first time. We raised $1800 for the relay. We are looking forward doing this again next year. We also did a CHIP booth 2009 at the Relay and processed 44 children in the ID Program.

If you like to donate you can go to American Cancer web site and make a donation to the Clay Center Masonic Relay Team. http://main.acsevents.org/

The Masons have a cancer research center at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City. The Mason has donated over $21 Million toward the building the wing staff for the cancer research. We are raising another $11 Million for the Masonic Cancer Research Center. Dr Roy Jenson MD spoke at the Clay Center Relay For Life.

Kansas Masonic Home in Wichita, Ks. is care facility in which the patients are free to live their own life at their own schedule. They eat and go to bed at their own will.
